Weather: light snow, overcast with some sun at times

Kai, Xavier, Eric and I walk down to the cache site. Marc stays in camp to rest and try to recover.

At dinner time, we celebrate Xavier’s birthday, a liquid cheesecake is served – it did not have time to set – but the sugar intake is the same. The rangers staying next to us sing happy birthday To Xavier, one of them carries a banjo and plays a song to Xavier.

At the same time, another neighbour is skiing down after skinning up and trying to jump over his tent and camp. Quite the fancy birthday night for Xav!
