Motorcycling upstate New York, day 2
It rained through the night and the roads are wet but drying. We grab breakfast at the hotel, get dressed in our motorcycle gear and jump on the bikes. We are off at 830am. Dan has prepped a very nice route that takes us on many twisty backroads including the ‘famous’ Tracy road and Ensign pond. Soon after starting Dan spots a beautiful fox standing on our side of the road and signals to slow down. He runs back in the first.
We keep the speed reasonable due to wet roads but i am still having a blast. As the road dries the pace goes up ‘slightly’.
Lunch in Lake Placid, site of 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics, we take a walk around the village and ride to whiteface mountain.
The bikes: Dan rides a 2020 BMW S1000XR, Ben rides a 2013 Suzuki GSX-R750
