Exped day 12: Weather forecast forces us to stay put
(Featured picture: large expedition with sleds arriving at Camp 3, Mount Foraker in the background)
May 16 / Weather: high pressure but storm coming
The forecast announces a low pressure system and snowstorm from Wednesday so guides decide to change plans, we won’t go up to high camp today. We are going to wait for the storm at camp 3 and take a shot for the summit later this week.

So good to read what you all achieved in such a short time. The mountains are absolutely amazing, -15 in the tent is rather cool, you are lucky to have such thick sleeping bags. Who sleeps in the middle?
Thank you for your comment, we had an amazing time in Denali. Yes, thank god our sleeping bags are marvels of nature (down feathers) and technology (how to use them in sleeping bags) mixed together and therefore enable us to sleep at up to -20/-30. We took turns for the middle, Patrick and I (Benjamin), Xavier preferred the side.
