Breakfast in Anchorage at the snow city cafe, final shopping at ‘The hoarding Marmot’ where Xav drops his old down parka and harness for sale.

Packing and checking out of Westmark hotel. Marc meets us at 1pm and we hit the road to Talkeetna. We drove along the Chugach and even see 2 moose eating grass close to the highway. We check into the Talkeetna roadhouse, our usual hangout place, and prep our gear.

I manage to speak to Sarah and even see Oscar on WhatsApp having his breakfast. It’s so nice to see both of them and I miss them a lot already

We then drop by AMS office to say hello to Kai. He has been prepping the food and gear for the expedition.

Xavier and I head for a run around the town and the local wilderness. A quick 5k and we are back.

Very nice dinner at the Talkeetna Brewery, Kai, Marc, Xav and me.

Tomorrow is our final day here. AMS gear check at 1pm.
