Midday, we head down the mountain to pick up the cache content. Its beautiful. The Alaska range mountains fill up the horizon. Some gigantic crevasses, next to the path down, are masterpieces of nature’s art.

Its Kai, Xavier, Eric and I picking up the cache, Marc is resting and desperately trying to recover from his cold / exhaustion / altitude illness. Under 2 hours round trip to go down, pick up the cache and climb back up, not too bad!

(The picture from Garmin below clearly shows the camp 3 ‘village’ with all the tents of a typical summer of expeditions, it also shows the gigantic crevasses on the way to the cache. The climbing path stays well clear of the crevasses)
